A small town just 10 minutes away from San Gil, y it is the starting point for visits to some of the caves in the area (“la cueva de la vaca”, “la cueva del yeso”). You can also enjoy the “balneario de pescaderito” and the natural park sanctuary.

Being such a short distance from San Gil y it is an ideal place to rest and get closer to nature, as well as enjoying the typical Santander town lifestyle.

You can find handycrafts made from fique (vegetable fibre) in Curiti: purses, sandals, shoes, and so on. It is said that Curiti means “tierra de tejedores ” (land of weavers).
